A bar my mom goes to, in there and she heard a story about a girl in her mid 20's some people say they saw her in here. I guess she got murdered somewhere near there or in there but the guy that owned the place passed away and he used to grab people's shoulders as a gesture like telling them thank you. And people say now that he's dead when they go in and sit down they feel someone grab their shoulder as like saying hello. So if you go in there or know anyone that goes in there please let me know, I don't know if it is true or not.

I just heard a story from a man who grew up in Ashville. He is now in his 60's and this happened to him in the mid 1950's in his childhood. He was walking home alone one night and had to go underneath a railroad bridge.
All of a sudden a pair of boots started walking beside him and kept walking with him until he got away from the bridge. He was extremely frightened but never told anyone about this until years later when he was a man.
Years later he heard that in the 1890's a man was hit by a train on that rr bridge and it knocked his boots off. Has anyone else ever heard anything about this.
