I live in pineair village just off the high way across from the Athens messenger. On the railroad there has been sightings of a woman with a young kid walking down the tracks at night. I've seen this woman and child several times, and I'm not the only one; my brother who is 18 goes fishing at night.
He claims that he's seen this ghostly figure himself then as he would get closer this woman and kid disappeared. My neighbor has seen this woman and people

say that the woman and child were killed by the train and they were so mangled that they could not detect who they were.

Some friends and I took a walk outside of ''The Ridges'' just for fun trying to spook ourselves out. It wasn't until later in the evening we noticed that snap shots taken with our cell phones weren't what we though we're taking a picture of.
We saw a woman's face in one of the windows. I tried to punch open and cracked window only to give up and next thing I knew... the window panes were rattling.

Comment by Tiffany: In ward 20 it was in 1978 that a woman went missing. That was probably the window that you saw the face in. But anyway several weeks later she was found dead. She left a stain on the floor in 1979, and it has stayed since. The woman's name was Margaret, age 58. She died of heart failure. The room was also unheated.
