I live in Aurora, right near the library, in old Aurora. I have been in this house a few years now. There are three ghosts that live here with me. Several times I heard bumping sounds in the attic. I went up there for the first time ever and found all kinds of strange things. I threw away all of them. There were newspapers from the JFK assassination as well as Time magazines, a buggy, and a life raft, which I think was the strange one. I do not know where the past of all of this lies, but there are three of them in this house.
They are a mother, a father, and a daughter. The father, I almost never see. He is always in front of the fireplace, and even then, all he ever does is try to light a fire when it is really cold. He minds his own business. The mother, I have never seen within six feet of the wet bar in the house. She does not mind her own business quite as well as the male ghost. She does not like it when people flick the lights on and off late at night. She taps on things when they do that. She is very impatient as far as ghosts go. The third one; however, she is so adorable! She is a little girl; she is probably around six years old. I have seen her all over the house, so have others. Everyone who has been in this house for any amount of time has seen her. It seems that all she wants is attention. She twirls, skips, runs, jumps, and plays with her skirt. No one has ever seen her with any toys other than her dress. It is like she just dances around. If you do not pay attention to her, she sure looks sad almost hurt, and she will aggravate you by playing in your periphery until you actually look. The mother taps on the wet bar when the lights get flickered, but the little girl will tap on the edge of the bed. She seems to have a farther range.

I do not mind them so much; they are not so scary. It just seems that sometimes they want attention. When I threw away the things from the attic, they stopped bumping around up there, but they are still in the house. And you know what? I do not really mind. I just think it is sad that they are stuck here. The little girl is so sweet. The mother is a little strange, and the father just tries to keep them all warm. They never talk; they just do their own thing. The girl seems to want attention, the mother seems irritated if you bother her, but the father is aloof. I do not know - strange situation.

The house is now gone. It was Squires Road, then Sea World Drive. The house was built by a man named Jack, who died there. Many strange unexplained things happened there. With six kids my parents kept a close eye on us, and we would all be sitting in the living room and hear someone walking in the upstairs. In the kitchen dishes would ''jump'' out of the dish drainer. One of my sisters was asleep in a bed by herself and was smacked across her face. When she screamed in the middle of the nights my parents ran to her side and found an adult hand print on her face.
