it hurt and burnt really bad. I have no clue what caused it. I was in there alone, and there was nobody else around since my friend was in my bedroom.

I was about 19 years old, and I was leaving my house on the north end of Circleville. I just drove past speedway when I came up on forest cemetery. As I got up around the tombstones and the ice cream shop, I saw a lady. She was dressed in early 1900s clothes and was transparent. You could see right through her. She was about 6to 12 inches off the ground. She was floating and was moving so fluidly. As I got up around Reber Avenue, I think, she went right through the front of my truck. I had no idea what to do. I always wondered if I would ever see her again. A lot of people think I'm crazy when I tell them that story. Trust me. I know how it sounds, but it's a day that I will never ever forget.

Comment by Peter: There are many members of the 90th Ohio volunteer infantry in the Forest Cemetery which likely explains the Civil War sightings.

I was five years old at the time when me and my parents lived in the blue apartments on Main Street. It was just me and my mom one night. We were staying up, so we could walk to meet my dad after he was done at the Purina Animal Food Mill on Mill Street. I was thirsty, and my mom was asleep wanting to be woken up at midnight. It was around 11 pm. I went to the kitchen to get some water when I noticed our basement door was open. Dad always locked it up, and he never forgot to do so. I closed it and locked the door myself. I turned to leave when the door flew open, and this shadow person ran up the stairs. I quickly left screaming for my mom. When I turned to see if it was following me it was gone. While I'm submitting this I have a question: has anyone here heard of any ghosts or legends pertaining to Forest Cemetery here in Circleville?.
