There used to be an old house that sat next to Main Street and Strt 132. Said people just disappeared and left plates on the table. I don't think the house is there any more.

I am a driver for the post office in Clarksville, and for the last year I have been noticing dark shadows, hearing noises, and hearing chains clanking together. One night at work I heard children singing and birds flocking, but there was no one there. Wow, I'm hearing and seeing these things. I'm not scared, but when I leave and put together what it actually is. It freaks me out because I'm actually hearing something but seeing nothing or no one. What was there at the post office on 75 Spring Hill Lane before the post office was built? I feel like presence of something.

Comment by Elliot: As long as I can remember the lot was just a corn field. Only houses on one side of the street. Clarksville by looks or the atmosphere has always had an eerie and spooky air about it.

The old Clarksville Elementary School was long rumored to be haunted by a janitor that hanged himself. For many years kids talked about the incident. I think it happened in the 70s. In the basement there was a bathroom with a large steel door. It was cold and eerie, and kids would lock each other in the dark room trying to get the janitor to make himself known and scare the kids. All in fun of course.
