On the border of Columbia Station on Root Rd (just south of Sprague Rd. ) I was conducting census for the DOC. I was traveling south on Root just before Hawk Rd when I saw a young woman walking on the side of the road in the north-bound lane with the traffic. I then turned immediately in a driveway of an address to which I had to audit.
Just checking to the north to make sure the walking lady was ok, I noticed she was no longer in view. In that

short period of time, it was not possible for her to have been able to run to a home in time. I pulled back out onto Root Rd to see if she had fallen

or fainted and rolled into a ditch, I found nothing.
She simply vanished. Is there any evidence of an accident or disappearance of a young lady between Hawk & Sprague rds on Root ??? This occurred in 2010 in plain daylight.

My best friend and main support was a man twenty years older than I. He and his family took me in, loved my kids and guided me in all ways. One day as I packed for a vacation, I was contacted by local officials, telling me he had died. Weeks later feeling weepy over his absence I bought a burger, his favorite meal and went to the local duck pond where we would often sit and talk and talk.
