This happened almost fifty years ago in an abandoned house on Independence Road about a mile from 424. Seven of us spent the night at this house. We arrived late afternoon and did a walkthrough of the home starting in the basement and ending on the second floor. Other than several stained mattresses, graffiti, and obscene words painted on the walls, nothing that caused any of us to be wary. The evening wore on. Uneventfully cards were played. Stories were shared,

and cigars were smoked. No drugs or alcohol were consumed. By 2:15 a.m. we were bored and began singing 100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall. When we hit 97,

one of group told everyone to be quiet because they heard something. We waited several minutes and heard nothing, so we began to sing again. This time another one of our group heard something. We stopped singing and listened again.
After nothing but silence, we sang a third time when one person put their hand up for silence when we heard it. A blood curdling scream that seemed to last forever or until one of our group said, ''Oh God, what is
