I was sitting on my couch one night in dead silence writing a story that I have been working on for almost two months, and I heard the sound of knocks on my stove and from my bathroom. I turned on my voice recorder on my phone and recorded an EVP.
After about twenty minutes or so of recording, I reviewed the playback on it. As clear as day I heard like a girl child cough twice and the sound of something dropping. No one else was home at the

time, and I was silent throughout the EVP except for the statement, ''if anyone is present and wishes to communicate with me, you are more than welcome

to. ''
Later that night a buddy of mine stopped by to see what was up. As soon as he stepped foot into the door, he also felt the presence of a spirit. At that moment we both had extreme cold chills and the feeling of someone else standing next to us talking.
