It was always a worry of my father that he would somehow get hold of his razor blades and cut himself. One day, we were unable to get into the bathroom because the vanity drawer had been pulled completely out of the vanity and therefore was blocking the entrance to the bathroom.
My oldest brother had to take the door off the hinges in order to get the door open. Keep in mind that there is no way to pull this drawer open unless you are in the bathroom.

Once we gained entrance, we noticed that all of daddy's razor blades had been wrapped in mom's shower cap and had been placed on top of the vanity.

sometimes wonder if this wasn't daddy's way of keeping his baby son safe from harm, as this was one of his fears. Afterwards, we had several accounts of our piano tinkling. Not a song, but just random keys being played.
Our family would frequently gather around the piano while daddy played and we would sing songs together. On another occasion, my mother and I both heard a huge crash of glass breaking. We ran to each other and held each other because
