I think people are confusing the old mental hospital that is now the Broadview Hts police station on Broadview Rd -- it's near the Hinckley border where Boston Rd (also known as Wiltshire) and Broadview Rds meet.
There was no other mental hospital around that I've ever heard of. Growing up in Parma we hear about the Broadview Hts location. Anyway - Hinckley is one haunted place in general. Especially the Boston / Broadview Rd area.

development off of Boston is seriously haunted. Go there if you want to see some ghosts. But I'd advise against it.. The paranormal can be powerful and

wreak havoc on your life. So - I'd forget it and turn to prayer.
Take it from someone that's had their life ruined by Hinckley and it's ghostlings. Your call.

In the late 1970s early 80s just before I graduated from Highland High my friends and I drove up to the asylum. As everyone at school heard about it from their parents, and they also went when they were younger. Anyway the place had caution tape from the Hinckley Police all around the building. We all went in the building, the boards on the floors were damaged, and it was hard walking inside there.
