I had just moved to Leesburg. My wife went out shopping with her mother so I was alone in the house. Our bedroom is in the upstairs portion of the building. I was laying on the bed relaxing when I heard what sounded like running in the hallway just below me.
I went to investigate the sound when I heard as clearly as if someone was talking to me the sound of a little girl giggling. I looked out each of the windows to see if there may have been kids playing outside.

I saw nobody. As I was making my way back upstairs the downstairs bathroom door slammed shut with extreme force.. Scaring the ''bleep'' out of me. I checked the room expecting to see the window open but it was closed..

No breeze shut that door. I then made my way back upstairs.... Quickly. I have noticed several instances of unexplainable events since being in the house. I was a skeptic, not so much any more. The house is one of the oldest houses in the area going back 150 years or so.
The house was added onto back in the early 1900's making it longer. I never feel alone in that place. I recently had a sighting of an ''apparition''. The family's dog saw it at the same time I did.
A black shadow in the shape of a person standing in the hallway looking in on us as we watched TV. When the dog and I saw it it left. I jumped up to catch the ''person'' in the hallway but nothing was there.
