I grew up in Elida, a small town outside of Lima. The house we lived in is one of the original houses of the village. Before that it was a farm house that sat in the middle of a field. My great-grandparents bought it, and my family has lived there ever since. As a little girl I was terrified to go in the basement. It had four separate rooms to it, and the very back room always made my spine shiver. I could never understand this. As I grew up my grandfather

told me that when they bought the house he was in that back room messing around, he noticed that someone had done some patch work on the wall. He got

to poking around and the wall fell in. Upon his inspection of the area he found a skeleton under the front porch. Through the process of investigation it was a woman that her husband claimed missing. He killed her and placed her body under the front porch and sealed up the wall.
We have always heard noises from the basement, and I guess just got used to them even made jokes about it. One night I was in the kitchen getting a snack and I heard
