We used to live where they built a hospital or medical center. Summa I think. It was a house behind the clock building off the 18 just before Foote Road. I loved that house. It was on 16 acres backed up to a metro park. I think the people who built it loved it too. Well, I assume they had it built. You could sometimes smell chocolate baking when no one had used the oven. I felt safe and protected there. I know it's weird. We had come from a bad haunted

house, and I felt like this one was taking us in.
I think the man of the house was attached to the basement which had a step down bar built in.

I didn't feel welcome there when my husband wasn't around. My husband felt right at home there. I would think it all my imagination except for the baking. I sometimes wonder what happened to them when the house was torn down.

In cobblestone a development here in Medina I had a very happy childhood. Soon we had to move here and things were... different. Often times I would see a man in the basement or downstairs rarely when I went to get a drink.
