I went to Jefferson school from 1963 to 1966 heard sounds in the gym that I still think about today. When they took the gym down I asked for one of the basketball rims. I was on the team in 1966 still have it hanging in my man cave.

I lived in a house on Jefferson Avenue when I was pregnant with my oldest daughter. You could be downstairs and hear someone calling your name from upstairs. When you got upstairs to see who called you, they would be sleep. You could be upstairs and hear someone calling from downstairs. We would leave and when we came back all of the pictures in the wall would be hanging upside down. The dog would stare at the wall and whine and bark.

In the basement you felt like someone was watching you. The dog was very afraid of the basement. Someone or something would take stuff and put it in someone else's room, which would make us fight and accuse one another of stealing. I took a shower one night, and a picture flew off the wall and flew all the way across the room and hit me through the shower curtain. We left. The neighbors said they wondered why EVERYONE there always left at night and in a hurry. Now they know.

I lived in a house on Moore Street and had several things happen to me. One night I was lying on the couch and saw a little boy ghost with a red hat walk out of the kitchen and into the front room and disappear into the side of the TV. Another night I was lying in my bed upstairs, and something opened my closet door all the way behind me and slammed it back shut. It was a very loud slam. A few times I would wake up out of a sleep and couldn't move or talk like something was holding me down. I would have to fight to get myself up, but I couldn't see anything holding me.
I had a friend over one night, and the front room floor started vibrating while we were sitting there talking. I lived there for years and had several other experiences like someone breathing in my face, etc. After I had my daughter I laid her in her car seat beside the couch that I was lying on, and I fell asleep. I purposely did not put anything by her even though she was only an infant because I always heard not to put things like blankets over babies when they are asleep. I woke up with my infant child screaming in distress. I looked down at her in her car seat, and there was a blanket over her face only. I grabbed the blanket, and my baby was full of sweat gasping for air. Well, that did it for this momma because I moved out of that house on Moore Street after that and has never been back!.
