I used to live on Lincoln Avenue in Mingo Junction. Not much scares me. The basement always creeped me out a little. I always felt like there was someone down there with me. I figured because it was just dark and gloomy. I decided to finish the back part of the basement and make a man cave. The front part just got too wet. There was also a crawl space at the bottom of the steps. Everything else was good.
Then I kept hearing someone walking around

in the kitchen. It wasn't my wife. She was at work, and she worked night shifts. This happened a few times. Then as time went on, I started hearing someone

walk down the stairs. I'd run out, and no one was there. I stayed out of the basement for a while after that. After a few weeks I rationalized it and started going back down.
One night I fell asleep, and I heard someone come down the steps. Then it sounded like they were walking around in the next room. I listened scared out of my mind. There was nothing for a while, so I started drifting off to sleep. I heard shuffling next to my chair, and
