Comment by anonymous: It sounds like you drew in some evil spirits, paranormal activity because you had an affair (evil spirits thrive on anything immoral or bad), maybe that apartment was haunted by someone who's spouse cheated on him / her maybe it was just an evil spirit.
Evil spirits can attach themselves to you anywhere. It's a good idea to wear a charm that means something to you such as a St. Benedict medal or anything that represents protection to you.
Sometimes I wear a St. Benedict medal and most of the time I wear a quince seed medal made by Maryann Winkowski.. It really works you can look her up online- when I wear the necklace there's no problem. When you move to a new apartment smudge with white sage in every room and closet- every two weeks until the problem subsides and maybe every month after that.
Open your curtains and let light in, that always helps. Don't play with Ouija boards or dabble in the occult that will bring evil spirits in. I grew up in Nelsonville and it is a strange town, Logan and Nelsonville have a lot of witches and occultism, perhaps the spouse of your lover was married and she caused you paranormal mischief. Comment by anonymous: There was a murder that happened in those apartments around 1990. A jealous boyfriend shot his girlfriend. I don't really know much about the story, but I remember hearing about that.
Comment by anonymous: Yes, there was a murder in these apartments. I do live in one of the buildings right now. The building that the murder took place is across from me. The boyfriend was very jealous, and the rumors around town at the time were that they had been in a fight, and he was very abusive. She was getting ready to leave him when he shot her in the back. (This is what I have always heard. I have lived in Nelsonville my whole life.).

Wayne county national forest. At night I had a man dressed in normal clothes came up to me and asked me where to road was. I turned around and pointed in the direction of the road. When I turned around he was gone. No foot prints in the snow. . . . . I don't know if it was a ghost.
