We moved into a house on W. Washington Street. We hadn't been there very long when my niece saw a young boy about 8 years old run down the hallway. She thought it was one of my kids, but they were all outside. One night my oldest son was put to bed early as punishment for something he had done. Not long after he lay down he began to hear something growling at him. He came and told me, and I went to the room and said the Lord's Prayer. Then all was fine.

Others including myself always feel someone is watching us from the hallway or peeking out of a bedroom doorway. Often we hear 3 knocks during the night
|
as well as other odd noises. It still creeps me out at times.

When I was at my friends house and they live next to the West Madison School we were playing soccer in her backyard when I kicked the ball over the fence that leads to the field. I climbed over the fence and got the ball when I heard talking next to me.
The thing is no one was there. Then it tripped me.

Comment by Chris: I was doing some community service stuff in town and had to go into the old school on W. Madison Street, and the entire time I was there I had some overwhelming anxiety and generally just fell uncomfortable. I had to split up with the city worker I went in there with, and while on the second floor heard a door slam. Never found anyone.
