I used to live in lakes of Powell and while there, I had an experience with three shadow beings. I was in eigth grade when this happened. It was nearing late night time and I was trying to sleep. My sister had a stereo system which emmits a bright blue light which would always spill into my room.
I was scowling at it cause it was so bright when suddenly I saw three shadows pass in front of it very quickly and into the wall. Of course, I became frightened and hid under my covers. But when I came back out to try to debunk the sight (which I commonly do with all of my experiences) , they were standing right next to my bed! I couldn't see any major specifics besides their height (which I'm guessing is between 6 and 8 feet tall) and they're bright red eyes.

I made a deal with them, silently. I'm not sure exactly what it was though and have been haunted by this for a long time now (I'm not a freshman in college). But for two nights after, ghostly figures, white and frightening, visited me in the night.

On the second night, I prayed outloud to god and asked him to make them leave. He did just that and I was saved from them, or so I thought. Ever since, I've been followed by strange noises, occurrences and frightening chills.
I was ready to put this all behind me until I met a woman who called them the devil's eyes. After that, I began to study them and discovered that my friend kei who also lived in lakes of Powell was moving through her woods and had seen three figures in her woods before she turned and ran.
Then as I tucked in a young girl who I babysat, she confided in me that she was visited by 27 shadow beings with red eyes. This was without my even asking. So I believe that lakes of Powell has a haunting story behind it. .
