I used to come to this small town with my aunt. She had ties to her boyfriend, and we would go down and house sit. I can't remember the wife's name, but the husband was Butch, and he had 2 boys: Dave and Brian. I was maybe 12 or 13 and went down for the summer. I remember thinking it was like a town out of little house on the prairie because of the old corner store. I wonder if it's still there? Anyhow I could tell a million stories about this place.

I was so scared as a young teen. This place definitely confirmed my belief in the paranormal. I'd love now as an adult to go back there and do some EVP

and ghost hunting. I think I'd get a lot.

Comment by Vanessa: I stayed there growing up. For a little while a strange town for sure, but I loved it. I remember riding through a corn or tobacco field, and me and my brother got stuck inside of it for almost the entire day. There was a trail with a hole that we could not get out of because it was so steep to climb out of. I forget how we got out, but my brother remembers it too. I heard a lot of strange stories growing up. It would be nice to hear some more.

On fee road across from the cemetery. There once stood an old barn (or maybe it is still there) in an open field. A friend and I attempted to stay in that barn over night back in 1983, we were 13 at the time.
