I grew up in Shelby. I lived in a house that I kept picking up people singing and talking on my small tape recorder. One night my friend Randy and I decided to place my recorder in the attic. We could clearly hear the noises of the passing cars as well as the crickets outside but knew the small recorder would not pick up the noise more then ten ft. or so away. I brought the tape player back down and for a moment there was only silence. Then the sound of static grew louder and louder as if it was approaching my tape player. Then out from the static came a voice saying, ''Dan, put the tape back,' then nothing.
I saw several things while living in this house as well. I've been plagued most of my life to seek out the unknown and have obtained a few picks and a large collection of various stories. I included a pic I took at a haunted hotel in a pitch black hall way.
