My mom and dad left the house, at the time my mom was pregnant, and I was with my aunt Whitney. We were at the house sitting in the living room, and the baby swing moved. It swung and almost broke. I was sure it was haunted now.
It was October, and we were all downstairs asleep. I heard a loud noise upstairs. My dad went upstairs to check it out. Nothing had happened; everything was the same upstairs. That night I looked out the window and saw

a shadow and heard a loud scream. I told my mom, but she didn't believe me. I knew that house was haunted the second I stepped in there. I got chills

and felt a spirit. It may be a small village, but it does have the worst past. Submitted by Janice

My friend and I were attending college in Wooster. We decided to take up the challenge of trapping animals in Killbuck Marsh. One evening on the trap line, we came upon an abandoned house which looked promising for some raccoons. We had run out of light much faster than we expected and were now setting traps by the light of our single mag lite. We strategically placed our traps in creek that led along the property of the abandoned house. We left the line feeling pretty confident on what we may have the next day. As we pulled up on our trap line, we noticed smoke emerging from what we thought was an abandoned house. We found it odd and concluded someone must live there.
Checking the line we found many abnormal activities with our traps. It began with our traps being set of day after day without any animals. We decided to move our traps deeper into the creek. The next day we came back to a missing trap with and undisturbed crime scene. Another trap with evidence of a coon capture and escape but no sign of the coon struggling when captured. We decided to pull our traps after these strange experiences. Since we trapped this crick we have experienced many unfortunate events on the trap line. No catches and vehicle failures along with unfortunate events to ourselves. Each day we pass by the house to see if anyone is there. The stove remains smoking but nobody ever leaves or enters the house. There are no vehicles or tracks.
