on with that house, and I was never gladder to leave a place in my life. One weekend we left to camp in West Virginia and came home two nights later to find the front and back doors wide open and every single light in the house on (including a lava lamp,) but nothing had been touched at all. We know for a fact we did not leave it that way.
In addition to what I have mentioned we also experienced doors opening and closing on their own. Several times

I felt like someone's head was about to pop over the half wall that bordered the stairs to the upstairs. I was that sure that someone was coming up them.

I was hearing and feeling the presence of someone else when I knew I was alone. A voice from the upstairs that occasionally cried out ''mama!'' scared me half to death thinking my son was up there in his room when he was not even home. We pried paneling off a wall in the basement to find a completely sealed off room full of old junk that was part of the original foundation of the house. We promptly sealed it back up. We have no idea why it was sealed,
