We moved into a 2-story half double house on Clifton Avenue. There are two rooms upstairs that we used as bedrooms. One on the right was our daughter's, and the left one was for me and my husband. It started a few weeks after we moved in that my daughter started telling us there is a little boy that wouldn't let her sleep at night. He told her his name is Buddy, and he wanted her to wake up and play with him.
We would hear child footsteps walking around her room, but my daughter was at school. Some of her toys would start making noise and sounded like a kid walking around. One night I went to sleep in her room since my daughter was with her grandma. As I lay there I heard toys moving as being played with. Then I felt a little hand touch my shoulder and slide down my back.

I jumped out of her bed and back to mine so fast I was scared. Her room was really cold that night, so I had her thick blanket wrapped around me. Most nights we were all downstairs watching TV, and my daughter had a little guitar, and it would play all by itself like someone learning to play.

Buddy didn't bother us, and he wasn't mean. I think he was just a lost soul. What really made us think and realize he was real is when we were moving out. We had boxes stack about five feet high, and we had about three piles of boxes stacked. Me and my husband were talking, and the boxes just started falling over like someone pushed them. They weren't unevenly stacked either. I believe he was mad we were leaving him. I was never afraid, and I have had other experiences that terrify me.
