Comment by Brittany: I too lived in a double on Stanton. I swear it was haunted. I constantly heard things, and lights would turn on and off by themselves. Crazy!.
Comment by Stacy: I also lived in a double on Stanton Avenue. We moved from there 3 years ago. We also heard footsteps running up and down the hall. It sounded like someone coming down the steps. After we lived there about a year we started experiencing what seemed like a child playing with my daughter's ball. We actually witnessed the ball bouncing against the front door and bouncing on the floor. Then it would bounce against the door a few more times, and it just stopped.
There was also a time when we were sitting there with my nephew, and we were all talking. I had a strand of Christmas lights wrapped around the banister of the stairs. The lights started to flicker on and off and would stop. A few minutes later they would flicker on and off again. After this happened a few times and had everyone's attention we all heard a pop, and the lights went out. After inspecting the strand of lights, there were no bulbs or fuses blown. There was no reason why the lights shouldn't have been working. Was the address 7XX?.

In 1965 I moved to a home off Kenton St. about 6.00 in evening, about 10.00 o'clock I was sitting at the kitchen table when I heard something sound like things going across rafters. Went in attic with light, nothing there, went downstairs and about 10 minutes later same sounds again. I moved back to my old home.
