(...continued from the previous page)
Was out walking my dog one night as we walked past the Old St. Joe's I heard what sounded like voices. I just rolled my eyes and thought one day somebody is really going to get hurt. I looked over and saw 2 men, not your usually trespassers. Both were dressed in suits without the jackets and one was smoking a pipe; both were wearing hats just like the men in old movies. Then even though I could still smell pipesmoke they both disappeared. Submitted

Let me start by saying I feel ghosts. I grew up with one, very nice; he just watched. My mother, brother, grandmother, and I myself had seen him. He would show up when we would remodel. Then the ghost from a church in Boardman I got attacked in. That was not fun. A friend was a caretaker of the church with school attached, and I went to visit. We went around the church to close up and turn off the lights. I could feel it very strong at points, and I knew I was not welcome. It kept following through church. When we got to the old chapel it tried to stop us from leaving this room. We saw the shadow moving faster and faster towards the door we were going towards. My friend was a lineman for a high school, not a small guy. We ran out of the room to go to his apartment, and the attack started!
I felt a hit and became disoriented. I quickly recovered, and I had to grab the wall. Then I hit the floor. My friend moved me from that spot and stood there himself. He was almost 300 pounds, very strong man (not fat) and hit the wall. He ran to apartment where everyone else was and thank goodness it was over. He moved out within 2 weeks. Now I feel ghosts everywhere, but nothing like that. Twenty years later I have not gone back. In 2011 I moved to Howland, Ohio. There were 2 ghosts: a child who played a lot, very friendly, and then the other one. It liked to bang on walls. It sounded like a sledgehammer on the walls. It stopped when my dad moved in when I moved out, then it started for my dad until I started taking my stuff to my new house, and it followed. It threw items and moved objects. We even started seeing it. It was a shadow man.
At least we have a good ghost here also that tries to help. Last night it let the dog in and off the leash. Yes, I wrote that right. It opened door, released the leash, and closed door just after I left her out and walked into the living room. I heard door close and dog ran past me. I RAN to the back door and no one around. I ran around the house, still I see nothing and nobody. I came back inside and searched the house, still nothing. My dog is a Rottweiler, I don't think someone just walked up and let her in. Like I said I was running around the outside of my house within seconds of hearing the door close. I live in decent neighborhood. People don't mess with big dogs here, especially when she has sisters that live here also. These are just a couple of experiences I have had. But I still want to ghost hunt! Not all ghosts are bad. I am trying to talk ghosts into helping with dishes instead of helping with my dogs.
