Back in 1999 my family lived in an old brick house on Depot Street. We had just moved in. One night I heard the kids making a huge fuss upstairs. They were yelling at me to stop scaring them. I was concerned of course because I was in bed. I got out of bed and yanked opened the door leading to the upstairs, which was when the kids started screaming again. I yelled up to the kids asking them what they were doing and what was going on up there. At that point

I turned the light on and went up there. All four of the kids were huddled in the room looking scared to death. The kids claimed that I had been moaning

and scratching at the wall while I was slowly moving up the stairs towards them. (I just got goose-bumps writing this. ) I got them calmed down and went back to bed. While lying there freaked out I could look out into the dining room. The street light cast a light into that room, and I was lying there trying to disbelieve what had just happened.
