My nephew was helping me move from a place I had rented on state route 2, (an old farmhouse converted into 2 separate units. ) it was during the evening, and we had sat down in the dining room to take a break.
During our conversation, concerning religion, my nephew looked at me and said, ''aunt dee, have you noticed that every time you say the word 'god',the lights flicker? '' I said that I had not, but, decided to test it, and said 'god' five times, quickly.

No sooner had I done that, and all of the light bulbs in the chandelier directly above us popped, in succession, leaving us in darkness. We looked at one another, decided to call it a night. .

I lived in an apartment with my roommate. And we have heard ghost voices and seem black apparitions in our second room. This was at the house next to the historical (and haunted) Museum on Monroe Street.
