I have also heard screams coming from the basement and after going down there I yet found or seen nothing. Still to this day I believe that the house is haunted. My grandmother died in 1963 of a cancer in her lungs from smoking tobacco.
I don't know if her death has any relevance to the things that took place in that house or that might still take place till this day.

One day when I was sitting on my couch my doorbell rang and no one was there I thought maybe it was a silly teenager but then my basement door flew open and I heard a screamed I ran downstairs to find my light flickering I was really scared at this point, and then my doorbell rang and then my doorbell rang again I locked my door and looked outside to see a man with a long trench coat and a hat disappear into thin air this has been my only sighting but I was scarred.

My wife and I moved to Wauseon from Napoleon. We have rented a house located on Marshall Street. Not long after moving in we began hearing someone go up and down the stairs, now mind you I do not get scared easy or become as one would say (freaked out) but!! , there was a chair up in the dormer room as I call it, and it was in a little area by the 1 window to the north.
The next night we heard someone go up the stairs and heard what sounded to be a chair being dragged across the floor... I ran up the stairs to find that the chair had been moved to the window facing south (yikes) was my first reaction!!! After getting myself together I thought no more of it.
