Once, when my little brother and I were riding our bikes, we decided to try to head to the west end of the township as I hadn't really gotten much of a chance to explore there yet. The road I lived on dead-ended at RT 534. We had to go all the way around or down the highway, so we ended up on a stretch of Phalanx Mills - Herner Road between county line road and GP easterly and passed this extremely old looking church, like 1800s old. It was a small,

single room building, with white washed walls, made with clapboards, tall windows all around and a peaked roof. Behind it, there was a small well kept
|
graveyard surrounded by black painted iron spike railings that were free of trees. There were two modern houses tight on either side, one of them abandoned.
My little brother wanted to go take a closer look, but the place really creeped me out, and I forced him to stay away from it, and we went on our way. The very next time I went down that road, a day or so later, the church was nowhere to be seen. For the next 3 weeks I went all up and down the whole road
