I used to live in the condos on Westown Boulevard. I had many frightening experiences. At first I made up excuses for what was happening, but I believe it to be haunted. My children slept on the living room floor. They refused to sleep in their room. In the middle of the day the ''hall monster'' was going to get them. They would run from their room. They were toddlers. My husband claimed to see a ''predator'' figure. I ignored him.
When I was pregnant I woke to a figure of some sort next to the bed. However, my fear was replaced by instant calm when I grabbed my husband, and I later dismissed it. I finally saw what seemed like a heat mirage when you drive through the desert, like a gas wall in my hall, coming towards me. I dismissed it as being tired. My husband later told me that was the ''predator. '' He was referring to the cloaking armor in the movie.
Basically I had seen the same thing. The cold spot was the most difficult. I worked nights and my husband days. I kept having to get food and snacks for the kids, but I was a zombie. I kept stepping in icy water but too tired to clean, literally wiped my foot on the carpet each time. A trash bag was pulled from the bin and wasn't taken out, so I assumed something cold from the fridge and had been tossed and leaked. Later I realized there was just a freezing spot on the floor that I mistook for wetness. It was there all day. I kept checking. The moment my husband got home, I grabbed his arm and took him to the spot, so he could explain it to me. It was gone.
