Unusual happening 9-9-13. I left the house locked at 3:20 pm, no one was home, husband at work. My daughter called at 3:30 pm, she used auto on her cell phone, showed our number and an old man answered...With others in the background... They spoke a moment then she hung-up. Called back using auto and no one there. My dad died 7-2-13.

Comment by Marie: I just found out that my husband snagged one of dad's phones before the estate sale. My daughter just called (9-12-13), I answered on my dad's phone... The connection was bad and we were cut off.
Comment by Marie: My friend came out yesterday. She had to buy a new phone today (9-21-13). Her battery would not charge. She took one call at my house yesterday.

I live in a house that is over one hundred years old. We've lived here more than a quarter of a century. My husband found this house shortly after we started our family. I've lived in old houses all my life, except the first few years of marriage. Our home is most active in Autumn. We moved in 1986,shortly after the birth of our second child, it was late October...
Many odd things happen. Doors open and close, sometimes windows open. I fell down the basement stairs a few years ago, I felt like I was pushed. No one was there. Late at night there are voices and music. The house becomes most active in October, often before the end of August and remains so until Spring. Then it quiets, again.
