attribute it to some cycling in the electricity. )
All in all while the little things spook us out, I don't feel a darkness in it. Whatever it is feels like he likes us here, so I suppose we'll continue to ignore the little things and spend some more of our life here. Submitted by Sarah

The old library building is now the local museum. The building is supposedly inhabited by a spirit known as Miss Elizabeth. Miss Elizabeth was a librarian back in the day and has been seen by staff and volunteers. There are reports of being touched, hearing voices, hearing footsteps and rustling sounds, hearing voices and music, seeing shadow figures, and unexplained noises. Objects have been moved or have gone missing from time to time.

Whenever something weird happens with the electronics, the staff jokingly blames Miss Elizabeth for it. There are thought to be at least 2 others: an adult male and a child. The male figure is more intimidating than Miss Elizabeth and the child are. The main entrance area, the stacks, the river corridor, and the collection room are the most active areas in the building. The Garrett-Phelps house Museum is allegedly still inhabited by a member of the Garrett-Phelps family and possibly a servant. Housekeepers, volunteers, and staff have reported unusual activity in Miss Katherine's room. Everything from disembodied voices and rustling sounds to shadow figures have been reported in Miss Katherine's room and in the basement.
