I used to live in a house in Calamus Iowa right next to the train tracks. One night I was laying on the couch in my living room watching TV, it was probably about 1:30 am, I was just about to fall asleep when I heard something in my basement.
I turned the volume down on the television to see if I could hear it again. About five seconds after hearing the noise I heard footsteps slowly making there way to the top of the steps. I was in shock, and just

laid on the couch frozen once the footsteps reached the top I heard the basement door open (this basement door is very old, and very hard to open) right

after the door had pushed open I continued to lay on the couch (I have been in contact with ghosts before and I'm known to know when they are present) I laid there and waited about three minutes after the door opened.
It felt like somebody was pressing their hands against my cheeks, and it felt like there was a weight on my chest. It only lasted a few seconds before it simply disappeared. My parents do not live in the house anymore but my mother has
