I, for a fact, know that the tunnels in the old Clarinda Mental Health facility are haunted. I had to do a six-month treatment program back in 1985 at a place called the Quarter-way Program. While in the program they gave you jobs. I started out in the laundry room and finally worked my way to house cleaning.
My job was to sweep and mop the rec room and the tunnel that ran underneath the whole complex. I was always by myself down there, and

was constantly hearing people walking when no one was around. I would always feel like something was watching me. However, that wasn't the eeriest feeling

I've ever felt while being there. I was on a unit called F6. There were many empty units in the building. This was clear down at the right end of the complex towards the back.
Next to F6 there was an empty unit called E6. I was allowed to go over there and play my guitar during non-treatment hours. If you go out the back door of E6 and down the steps, the sidewalk takes you straight past the laundry facility on over to another building called
