I was in Clarinda Academy from 2010-2011, and I believe it was haunted. It just gave me weird creepy feelings. I always felt like someone was watching me.

I worked at the Clarinda Academy. The kids' rooms are in the MI buildings. Many kids and staff report seeing and hearing things. One night I was going up metal stairs on the north side of MI to girls dorm and heard a male voice say ''good evening''; there was no one else there.

Many other things happened while I worked there. Objects moving, voices, kids waking up seeing a figure sitting on their beds. The Clarinda Mental Health Institute is definitely haunted.

I have and some of the people I work with at nsk and nsk-aks in Clarinda Iowa have experienced ghost activity at both plants. One recent experience was in the new warehouse where I was able to catch a whistle on a video clip.
