I live in an apartment on 6th Avenue S. A month after I moved in I woke up in the middle of the night feeling chilled. I looked by the bed next to me and saw a bright white figure. About 6 months later I was lying asleep in bed and woke up feeling chilled again. I saw a white transparent lady walking at the foot of the bed. She slowly approached me, leaning down towards me. I yelled for my wife, who was in the other room, but the lady still came closer. I got up and ran into the other room, and my wife and I left for awhile because I was so freaked out.
We still live in the apartment, and I think I may have gotten a glimpse of her at night since then. However, nothing as definite as the other two times. Also, I have never had any negative feelings while living here. I don't think she is a threat at all. She seemed very curious about me when she approached me, but that's all. I was never a believer in this sort of stuff, and I'm still not quite certain what it is that I was seeing, but these incidents have me questioning my skepticism.

A friend of mine in a local band rented a house which had belonged to the Disbrow family (they were an old lumber family). He rented the downstairs part of the house. His friend rented the upstairs part. It apparently had a widow's walk.
There was a story or rumor that someone had jumped or was hanged from the widow's walk. This house had very ornate 19th century woodwork and one of those old wooden gothic-looking staircases. My friend and I were talking on he first floor one day with me having my right arm propped up on he doorjam.
Something seemed to duck in and out of one room and go into another - I would describe it as a blurry-looking softball. It was also a little like the three stooges film in which the owl gets in the old skull and dive-bombs the stooges in he room.
