The final ride… a few summers ago my train club crew and I decided to go the Union Pacific Railroad Museum in Council Bluffs, Iowa. We heard rumors that it was haunted but we didn't believe it until we got our pictures back.
On the second floor there was this display with an old railroader's jacket and some of his mementos. And our tour guide told us a few stories about how back in the day working on the rails could be very dangerous and several conductors as well as crewmen lost their lives and this jacket belonged to one of them.
As soon as he said that all of us felt the temperature drop at least ten degrees and the jacket rustled noticeably. But there was nothing to create any breeze and the jacket was in a sealed case. Later that same day we went to an old train yard and posed for some pictures.
My friend Nathan kept saying he had a weird feeling like we were being followed. None of us paid any attention to him and we kept taking pictures. While we were taking the last picture all of us felt that same sudden drop in temperature.
And then we all started to feel creepy and decided to call it a day. After we got back to school at Ames we had the pictures developed. And in one of them, the last one on the roll just by Nathan's shoulder you could see a face.
After showing it to the other guys we all quietly agreed that it was the face in the picture of that railroader who's jacket we saw in the museum. Maybe the man in the picture was drawn back to the train yard one last time.
At any rate that day made believers out of all of us.

There also seems to be a face on the guys chest right between the coat zipper on the 2nd guy from the left.
