The Alice French house on E. 10 st Davenport Iowa is a popular site for ghost activity. I have had countless things happen to me here in the last 4 years I have lived here. Tall dark shadows light switches being turned on and off door handles turning and popping the closets open.
My hair being touched! But that's nothing compared to the ghost in the basement. You see one night I was down there around 2am, the house was pretty quiet . As I was taking the laundry out of the dryer a cold burst of wind blew through and right behind me someone real close to my left ear whispered ''help me''.

Comment by Just1girl: O. O: I live here! We always see flickering lights and stuff. I just figured it was faulty wiring or something (well it probably is that too) I hope the ghosts aren't tortured or anything :( poor dearies. :(.

I was laying in my bed at around midnight and I was just about asleep. But for some reason I just jumped up and as soon as I was sitting up when I jumped I saw this figure. It was pretty clear. It was close to my bed.
