I moved out of the house about a year ago. The house has caught on fire and recently the owner died of an unknown cause. The house still freaks me out.

Camp Sunnyside is peaceful but in one Sioux Cabin there is a story behind it. In the cabin from the way back of the room in the Sioux cabin the walk-in basement there is an old bed and I went in there in July 31 2013 at 9:36 pm. I heard this banging noise and I recorded the EVP at 7 min. 21 sec. I heard a thud, so if you want to be scared do it.

Comment by David: I have been to camp Sunnyside for Leather Craft training. I have stayed in one of the cabins there. I never heard of any of the cabins being called by any name. I would like to which cabin it is so I can check the cabin out for myself.

Down at Burke Memorial Park is a spot down by the river where if you stand there and close your eyes and just think of nothing a Native American spirit will enter your mind and show you your future. This was well known to the local Indians back in the old days but has been largely forgotten in the last couple of centuries or so.
But it still works. It's right at the river right down from the hospital helipad nearby. But beware, the spirit tells the truth and you might not like what it tells you. Don't do this for fun only if you really have to know your future. Mostly it's better not to know.
