My friend and I have a gift. We can sense things from the other side. He can see, feel, and sense any kind of them, but I don't have that luxury. I only see the harmful ones. In my old house we could sense many spirits, but I had the bad end of the stick because there was a spirit that didn't want me and my family in this house. It started showing itself to me when I was in the fourth grade. It tormented me for years. Eventually I got tired of it pushing me down the stairs and trapping me in the corner of my room crying, telling me to get out or it would hurt my family. When my friend told me he could see it too I was ecstatic, and he helped me to make it stop hurting me. We tried a ouija board and communicating with it. Nothing worked, so when we eventually moved I carved a bunch of crosses into the closet doors, and the window sills of every room, so that the next little girl that has my old room won't have to go through what I did.

I lived in a rental house on Thornton Ave for about 18 months. My former boyfriend always said that he felt a bad energy there, but I never did. The former tenant was abused by her boyfriend for the entire time they lived there, and I figured he was just picking up on her sadness-- until I actually saw something. I was home alone watching TV really late at night. Out of the corner of my eye I saw movement. I thought maybe it was one of my dogs or a car driving by. But then it stood up. It was like an Anubis or the shadow of one rather. It stood up and walked away. I never saw it again, and I moved out shortly after.

I've always been a believer in the paranormal world. I lived in an older duplex and every night I would hear someone walking on the stairs. When I started looking into the history the paranormal events started becoming more frequent and intense.
Multiple times I would be laying in bed to have all my clothes in my closet fall off the closet rod. I've had the covers yanked off in the middle of the night and have been pushed down the stairs multiple times.
