There is a ghost maid in a home on the eight hundred block on Farnam Street in Harlan, Iowa. The house is a green Victorian house. The maid wore a brown dress with a white apron. She can be seen in the sunroom. You can see her on Google maps. If you are at the front of the house, you can see her on the east side in the upstairs. And she is in the room with the big glass windows.

The house at 90x Farnam Street in Harlan is also haunted. The house was built by a freemason as evidenced by the ''symbols'' built into the architecture of the brick as well as the ''arch'' on the east end of the front porch.

Many spirits were brought into this house by it's freemasonic owner and they are still there to this day. They are not the kind of spirits that hurt you or attack you but they let you know that they're there.
Many houses in Harlan are haunted and you can tell which one's are simply by looking at outsides of the house and looking for the Masonic symbols that are incorporated into them (the triangle the arch the diamond etc).
