I drive by the Dakota City Historical Museum a lot and sometimes the lights are on and some people say a man drowned in the river next to the museum and he supposedly haunts the museum.

When you cross the river on the Sumner Avenue bridge there's a park. Right where the park meets the river at the bridge is a small beach. I have seen a ghost on that beach many times. I cross that bridge very often and I always look at the beach as I do so and sometimes I see a young man standing there.

You can see him clear enough but he is semi-transparent. Sometimes he's visible the whole time I look and sometimes he vanishes right after I see him. I've thought about pulling over and go down there and check it out but I'm afraid it might be some kind of evil demon trying to lure me there.
