I visited Crane and Pelican restaurant in Le Claire IA in 2009, and I felt a presence. Is it haunted by any chance? We were having lunch, and the big room one of the white doors kept swinging back and forth. Sincerely, Grace.

My family moved into this house about seven years ago, and there is this thing in the window exactly where it was when we moved in that moved in the middle of the night. It caused weird things to happen in our bathroom, from flushing when we were all in the living room to footsteps when most of us were asleep. It may be child's play compared to my aunt's house that is also in Le Claire. It's still pretty spooky.

I used to live in a house in Le Claire. Our house was around 100 years old, and it had been the death place of an old lady. I was little and would go to the bathroom at night. One night there was a face in the toilet that told me to leave it alone so for months I would run to the bathroom and close the toilet seat at night if it was up. My parents and older brother caught on, so they sent my brother into the bathroom at night. He said that the toilet seat was left up. When he looked in, it slammed shut. We all heard it and thought it was him who closed it, but when we asked him he stood there white like he just saw a ghost and said shaking ''No.'' .

I woke up to a strange noise in the middle of the night. I went to the bathroom. When I was done I entered the hallway and thought I saw my dad. I said ''oh my god you scared me. '' the lights were turned off.
