I lived in Rudd as a child, we moved there from Mason City. I suppose I was probably 9. We lived in a big house with a huge back yard. I believe the house had a barn years before we lived there. There was always that feeling of being watched.
There was one room in particular that you had to walk through my room to get to that was always ice cold and when you walked in there your breath was visible. I stacked everything I could against that door, something

was in there.
There was also at least one time it took my image. My mom was coming up the stairway which is very narrow and I was coming down the stairs

with my head down looking to the floor. She asked me where I was going and I said very low ''to get a drink''.
She stepped up the last step and let me go down. She and my step dad waited at the top of the stairs for about 4 minutes. My step dad finally goes down and looks as my mom waits on the stairs. He looked everywhere and checked the doors were still locked, he yells to my mom, she looked in my bed and there I was sound asleep.
