Many people have said that early in the morning there is an old man at Casey's who offers to buy them breakfast but when they get to the cashier he has disappeared. They call him ''Old Dutch.''. Submitted by George
Comment by anonymous: Is this the Casey's across from Hardee's?.
Comment by anonymous: Casey's bakery or the gas station? What time in the morning?.

What people don't realize about northwest Iowa is that there's a lot of creepy stuff that goes down here. This town of Sioux Center and many others around it are highly based Christian towns which introduces a hell of a lot of religious tension throughout the years. People being prosecuted in the pasts for not fully standing eye to eye with the Christian beliefs and believe me you, it is still very much like that today. Only nowadays it's impossible to get away with murder, none the less a hate crime of religion. But I have no doubt in my mind that a lot of the eerie stuff I'm about to tell you about has to do with the compilations of religious inadequacy. A small church originally put there to be a replica of the original Carmel church that had been burned down to put the new Carmel church there.
