I live in Sioux City and work nights as a press operator at ''the newspaper.'' When I first started about ten years ago I kept thinking that I was seeing a person (shadow figure) behind the press which was about 70 feet long with a walkway behind it. One night as I was registering a proof copy, I decided that I needed to adjust a plate which required a helper on the backside of the press. The other guys were at the far end of the press, so I took my position

while one of them would come to help me. Then this shadow figure leaned in from the other side as if to help me as a co-worker would. I stuttered ''I

just need to slide this plate towards you a little'' and made the plate adjustment.
A few years later the son of one of the sports writers started working with us. As I was training him one night, he caught me off to the side away from where our co-workers could hear. With a frustrated look he stated ''I keep thinking I'm seeing someone walking around back there!'' I just replied to him ''yep, he's on the crew. Don't worry about him.'' We still see
