I was staying the night in a cabin with several friends. We were still up but laying in bed about 1:00 am. We were fairly quiet when suddenly the lights blacked out with a loud sound and I saw a dark figure sprint across the room.
It was in the shape of a young boy but didn't appear to be a person or have any depth to it like a shadow but was pitch black. I watched it run to the door and disappear into the shadows. My friend Amelia saw it as well and

we were both very shaken by it and left early the next morning.
I don't remember it feeling threatening but wondered if anyone had a similar experience.

Comment by David: I had an impressive physical event a mile or so from your cabin area in late 80s. Fansler an old mining town and bridge that washed out in the 70s is a hot spot. Tothepointokc @yahoo .com.
