and to get the natives to move off that land the trees were burned down and the natives that perished on that land were never given a proper burial.
Two big fires happened in early 1900 and the Stratford 1979 fire.. Coincidence? They had a false fire alarm happen recently after inspection nothing was out of place. Was the alarm triggering from fires in the past?? This theater in my belief if definitely haunted and I want to find out by who??.

Comment by Judy: I grew up in Wahpeton ND (sister city across the river from Breckenridge MN). The fire that destroyed the Stratford Hotel and killed 16 or 17 souls (arson? ) (where the cinema now resides) burnt down January 28 1977 not 1979.
My intuition is that the reported ghosts at the theater are those from the hotel fire, not Native Americans. And there was 2 or 3 little fires at the theater since it was built to my knowledge.

I recently saw a movie at the Breckenridge theater. I was tapped on the shoulder while sitting waiting for the movie to start. Someone tapped on my shoulder three times hard and very deliberately. As I looked all around me I found that absolutely nobody was around me to have done this.
