Rumor has it the wooden outhouse in Sturgis Park over by Buffalo Lake is haunted. The city removed it though. I wonder why...

I go to Buffalo High School and although I went to Hanover Elementary I know some kids who went to Discovery Elementary. If you don't know Discovery Elementary used to be a high school back when it was built in the 1850's so yeah it's pretty old.

Anyway some kids from school told me Discovery is haunted, I've been there a few times and your voice really does seem to echo really easily and loudly in the hallways and the old theater... Creepy.

Comment by anonymous: As I was told and according to the date in the stone, the school was built around 1930 or so. That said it's possible it's the same land as the original which would be from the 1950s. I've heard a number of stories about a former student haunting the auditorium and a man who haunts the boiler room, rumored to be a former janitor. Neither seem to be mean or negative from what I've heard.
