When I was 6-years-old my family moved into an old 3-bedroom house which required a lot of ''fixing up''. The basement was eerie, flooded in the winter and smelled of mold. The attic which we did not find out we had until we re-roofed our house had a hidden bedroom and furniture.
This room has no windows and can only be accessed by climbing through a trap door in the ceiling of the bathroom. An infestation of bats kept any of our family from actually seeing

this room. This house was built in the late 1800s just before Danube had become a town.
We have some ideas as to what the room in the attic was used

for but never got a real explanation. Many nights we would hear footsteps and dragging of furniture across the floor boards. My mother expressed some small occurrences that left her on edge.
Things such as lights turning on in the middle of the night, lights flickering on and off when she was home alone etc. However as time passed these occurrences subsided. My sister and I also experienced some unnatural things occurring in the house; she
